Hdoc Converter Project

Because of hdoc is a sublanguage of xHTML and epub uses xHTML format, all is theorically supported. Any hdoc file can be converted with this script and the output contain all from the input but if the epub reader does not support an object (like video for exemple) it will be not shown on this reader.

Not all hdoc metadata are used, the contain of each tag is printed but on the same way for certain tag. CSS permite to stylish the way to display them, for example, tags are not shown, emphas, author and other meta-informations are printed in italic, but for other hdoc-data-type, they are only printed as it.

There are some display problems due to readers does not respect all CSS3 standard, so in certain reader, display is not good. To avoid this problem, use the V1 version of the converter without CSS.
