Hdoc Converter Project

Please note that this converter has been designed to convert files respecting the opml standard and not from a specific vendor or software. As a concequence, any well formated opml should be handled properly by the converter, as long as it stays in the supported fonctionnaly set (please see the "Supported features" section for that matter). However due to platform constraints this converter as been mainly tested with a limited number of converters (see the "Linux" following section), so some errors or glitches may append even with standard opml files. If it does, please feel free to contact us and report the problem.

hnb opml files have been used as test samples during the development of the converter. As a result hnb is the best supported opml software at this point. Basically no information is lost during the conversion process.

Although it was not they original purpose, opml files are commonly used as a vector for RSS feeds. There as been no special focus on the support of this kind of files as the converted was firstly intended for ouliners output conversion. However tests have shown that the converter can extract some information from these files (mainly the nodes's title and hierarchy) and export them to hdoc. If you need a better support you can modify the converter yourself (following the terms of the licence) or contact us.
